Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Vitality Nutrition currently accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield and Anthem plans. Benefits and eligibility vary based on your individual plan.

How often do we meet?

Frequency of sessions depend on the level of support that fits your needs and goals. To build a strong foundation, I typically recommend meeting weekly for the first four sessions. After that, we’ll reassess and adjust the cadence. Whether that means continuing weekly, shifting to biweekly, or spacing sessions out further based on your progress and what feels most supportive for you.

Can you help me with both sports nutrition & disordered eating?

Yes! I specialize in both. My practice is uniquely positioned to support clients navigating the nuanced overlap between performance goals and a healthy relationship with food. Whether you’re an athlete working toward strength, speed, or endurance gains - or someone recovering from disordered eating (or both), I provide guidance that integrates evidence-based performance nutrition with a compassionate, weight-inclusive approach.

Many of my clients are high-achieving individuals who want to fuel their bodies optimally without compromising their mental health or falling into restrictive patterns. Together, we focus on both physiological outcomes (like energy, recovery, and performance metrics) and emotional wellbeing (such as food freedom, body trust, and sustainable habits).

How is your approach different from a personal trainer or nutrition coach?

As a Registered Dietitian (RD), my training goes far beyond what most personal trainers or nutrition coaches receive. I’ve completed a rigorous, accredited education, supervised clinical training, and passed a national board exam to earn my credentials- and I’m also licensed to provide medical nutrition therapy when needed.

I frequently collaborate with coaches, trainers, physicians, and therapists. Whether you’re an athlete fine-tuning your performance or someone healing from disordered eating, I work as part of your integrated support team to ensure consistency and alignment in your care- physically, mentally, and emotionally.
